The goal of this course is to introduce students to a broad range of neurobiological facts and place them in the exciting context of brain-society interactions. Along the way, students will see that they are, literally, by the biology of their own brains, part of something larger than themselves.

Frontiers in Physiology

MCB 493 section FIP: Frontiers in Physiology
Advnaced course in molecular and integrative physiology. Offered fall and spring

Each week students will learn about a new area of molecular and integrative physiology at a depth sufficient to interact with a leading researcher in that area. The course is designed to bring students to the forefront of knowledge in selected areas of physiology.
